Diagnostic Service Call on 2011 Gibson Furnace.Customer advised that system had stopped heating and was flashing limit code. Turned unit on at thermostat. Checked code on furnace advising of open limit. Turned power off to furnace and reset high limit. Checked continuity on both high and roll out limits, both showing now closed. Restarted system, furnace is now operational and heating the house. Checked filter which looked new. Asked customer if filter was changed prior to arrival he advised that it was and it was very dirty. Advised customer that the filter was most likely the cause of the system overheating and tripping limit. Ran unit for 15 mins prior to departure with no issues recommend replacing filter once a month
